Counting Life

Please note that this is the original Japanese form of Reiki in which the recipient is fully clothed. Reiki can also be applied by hovering the hands above the body, rather than by touching, if it is so requested by the recipient.
The actual treatment takes approximately 60 minutes, and the rest of time is used for explanation, discussion, and relaxation before and after.

Distant Reiki Healing, Hospice or hospital visits can be arranged upon request.

Counting Life, of Castle Rock, Colorado, US, is the authorized headquarters of REIDO REIKI in the West. At Counting Life, REIDO REIKI Training Courses for Healers will be taught by Chika Forbess with a maximum of two students at a time.

Upon completion of each courses, you receive the official certificate directly from the main office in Japan.


REIDO REIKI Training Courses for Healers approaches three demensions: attunements, skills, and ethics.

In REIDO REIKI First and Second Degree, you learn the basics of Reiki as a level of therapy to be used only inside the family and with close friends. In the Third-A Degree, you learn about self quest and spiritual growth. In the Third-B Degree, you learn a level of becoming a semiprofessional or professional Reiki therapist. The Fourth Degree is for teaching Reiki. You need to have a considerable amount of experience in order to be able to take the Fourth Degree. It is not necessary for everyone to complete courses through the Fourth Degree (Usui Reiki Master Course.) Please learn what you need at your own pace.
